About Our Firm

Wiezorek & Geye Law Firm

The law office of Wiezorek & Geye is rapidly building its practice on word-of-mouth among our clients and the trusted referrals from our colleagues in the legal world. We have a great deal of gratitude for their confidence in our firm and allowing us to grow into a very successful family-run law firm in Southern California.

We are passionate about effectively addressing our client's concerns with strong and oftentimes untraditional solutions. The clients of Wiezorek & Geye, as individual and diverse as they are, all have one common need: serious and sound legal representation of families dealing with the loss of a loved one.

The firm's founding partners are sisters Shannon N. Wiezorek and Danielle A. Geye--the determined dichotomy of a former district attorney with vast criminal trial experience, and a widely-proven civil attorney who has represented an astounding array of clients, from major motion picture companies to local neighborhood families. The sisters' lineage holds strong in the Long Beach community, as our family has been successfully practicing law in Southern California for over 30 years.

Although significant legal victories are a trademark of Wiezorek & Geye, our primary focus remains the same: to care for our client's legal needs. Since 2009, Wiezorek & Geye has focused their practice towards the goal of helping families through difficult times and helping them plan and be prepared for their future.

We realize that this may be your first involvement in the legal system, which can be overwhelming and intimidating. But navigating you through the legal process is our job, and passionately representing our clients' interests is our only mission.

Shannon Wiezorek

Attorney-at-Law | Partner

Shannon N. Wiezorek has been a prominent criminal litigator in Southern California prior to partnering with her sister and opening Wiezorek & Geye. After graduating from Loyola Law School in 2004, she immediately joined the Long Beach City Prosecutor’s Office, where she had already worked as a law clerk for nearly two years. While working for the City of Long Beach, Ms. Wiezorek was awarded the Prosecutor of the Year. She also worked as the key prosecutor to the Domestic Violence Unit, and successfully tried over 20 cases before a jury.

In 2007, Ms. Wiezorek became a Deputy District Attorney for Los Angeles. During her time with the District Attorney’s Office, she worked in both trial courts and “drug courts.” Throughout the course of her career, she has proven to be a successful seasoned litigator in and out of the courtroom.

In 2009, Ms. Wiezorek made the bold decision to leave criminal law behind for the exciting and rewarding opportunity of opening a law firm with her sister. Her strong desire to help people and families carried over from her criminal practice into her current practice, where she has focused and honed her skills for the benefit of others.
